Which is better Dailies or Acuvue?
Dailies Total 1 is considered a better lens than Acuvue Oasys 1-Day with HydraLuxe when it comes to oxygen transmissibility. This lens also has a higher water content which increases to 80% at the outermost surface. These factors combined make Dailies a highly breathable lens ideal for those with dry eyes and busy lifestyles. SmarTears technology provides long-lasting moisture to the eyes by supporting the lipid layer of the eye, while LightStream Lens Technology promises optimal comfort by allowing for a thin contact lens edge.
Acuvue Oasys 1-Day on the other hand is considered more user friendly when it comes to removing and inserting your lenses due to their 123 inversion indicator. It also features UVA and UVB protection to protect your eyes from harmful rays. HydraLuxe Technology is a wetting agent made by Johnson & Johnson that helps to support the mucus layer of the tear film to prevent the lens from drying out so easily. This technology also reduces tired and dry eyes making Acuvue Oasys 1-Day with HydraLuxe an ideal lens choice for those who spend a lot of time in front of a digital screen or in air-conditioned environments.

Jan- 03 May 2021VerifiedI like these easy to use lenses. I have dry eyes, and daily use of these lenses helps retain moisture compared to other lenses. UV protection is also a great feature to protect the health of my eyes.

Gemma- 25 Mar 2021VerifiedComfortable all day. Don''t feel dry at the end of the day like others I have used.

Mr John Storer- 19 Mar 2021VerifiedHave always used Acuvue, tried Moist but needed a lens with maximum lubrication which was substantiated by my Optician and have used HydraLuxe for over 3 years. It is possible to buy cheaper lens but the extra cost is worth it and I have not experienced dry eye or infection in that time.

Clare- 18 Mar 2021VerifiedAmazing! I tried several lenses for dry eyes and these were the only ones that suited. No discomfort, 12 plus hour wear, UV protection and such clear vision, no blurring or deterioration however long you wear them. Very easy to put in and take out. So happy to have found such a comfortable and suitable contact.
