The terms and conditions of Feel Good Contacts are contracted in 3 parts:
- Terms and conditions (general website) - applicable to all customers/users of feelgoodcontacts.com. This would also include the supply of optical appliances.
- Terms and conditions for prescription spectacles/prescription sunglasses (collectively referred to as “prescription eyewear”). An addendum to the general website terms & conditions (as in part 1 above).
- Terms and conditions for social media and competition - applicable to all customers buying any product from Feel Good Contacts.
By purchasing anything from our website, you will be bound by the obligations in the first contract, terms and conditions (general website). In addition, purchasing prescription eyewear from our website will also include the addendum, terms and conditions for prescription eyewear (as in part 2 above) and social media and competition.
1. Terms and conditions (general website)
Please read these terms and conditions carefully as they give information regarding the policies under which you will be ordering contact lenses, solutions, eye care, glasses, or sunglasses with us. In these terms and conditions: "Feel Good Contacts" means "www.feelgoodcontacts.com". In this policy, the terms ‘we’ or ‘us’ refer to the group of Feel Good Contacts and our affiliated websites, mobile sites and apps. These include:

1.1 Terms and conditions of use of website
1.1.1 You are required to read the terms and conditions of use of the website before using it for making any purchases. By placing an order with us you indicate that you have read and agreed with all the terms and conditions of use and agree to act accordingly. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, please do not use our website.
1.1.2 The allowance of using the service on our website is on a temporary basis and we reserve the right to withdraw or make changes to the service we provide without prior notice. We will not be responsible if the website is unavailable at any time.
1.1.3 Occasionally we may deny access to some parts of the website to our users. For example, for those who are making a transaction with us for the first time, completing a registration form is compulsory, otherwise this part of the website will not be available. However, you can edit and update your details within the ‘My Account’ section as and when required.
1.1.4 We provide the best possible information and descriptions regarding the products on our website, although we do not wish for our customers to solely rely upon the information provided to make their purchasing decisions. We cannot be held liable for any reliance placed on such information by any user.
1.1.5 Collection of personal information - personal information is data which could identify or be used to contact an individual.
The information we collect may include, but is not limited to: Your name, email ID, date of birth, address, phone number, debit/credit card information and purchasing behaviour. We may collect information through our website, app, chat engines, email, verbally by telephone or mobile phone.
1.1.6 We permit our users to download and print a copy from the website only for their personal reference. Any changes made to the website or website copy, or any attempt at using the website material for commercial use, without our consent, is prohibited.
1.1.7 Users are not to input any material that is technologically harmful, that may cause functional problems for the website. All users are prohibited from gaining access to the private and administrative area of the website.
Any user not abiding to these conditions will be reported to law enforcement agencies and relevant action will be taken against them.
1.2 Valid prescription required
You hereby certify that you hold a valid prescription for the contact lenses you wish to order. This means that your prescription was made within 12 months from the date of purchase and that the prescription has been dispensed by a qualified optometrist or contact lens fitter (hereafter referred to as practitioner). We reserve the right to verify such details with your practitioner.
The above statement also applies to customers re-ordering lenses. Where you have been given a contraindication to wear lenses by a registered practitioner, we reserve the right to revoke any sale, unless otherwise redirected by the same or another registered practitioner. You hereby also state that you have no ailments that contraindicates the wear of lenses. When purchasing from us you confirm and verify that you have been prescribed the contact lenses you have ordered by a qualified practitioner, therefore we do not take responsibility if you order lenses that have not been prescribed for you and/or if the difference between the prescription and purchase date exceeds 12 months. We strongly recommend that regular eye checks be made by a qualified practitioner to ensure the welfare and continuity of your eye health. You do not have to send us your prescription, but by accepting the terms and conditions contained herein, you verify that you have a prescription that is valid within the law. 1.3 Our rights
We reserve the right to refuse to sell products to you if we believe that you have a motive of re-selling the product. We also have the right to control the quantity of products made available to you. We may terminate your contract with us and restrict your access to the website if we believe that any of your actions are in violation of any applicable law or are harmful to the interests of us and other users. We reserve the right not to supply contact lenses if we believe there are any health contraindications against the wear of lenses or if the contact lens specifications do not meet the satisfaction of the terms set herein. The general conditions shall be in accordance with the law of the country in which the supplier accepts the order and not from the country in which the distribution was executed. The sale contract will strictly be between the supplier and the customer. The customer will represent the individual that executes a sale from the website and has read the terms and conditions accepting the contents in their entirety.
1.4 Definitions and meanings
"Optical appliance" means any optical system that is used or worn in conjunction with the eye. This includes spectacles (frames and ophthalmic lenses), contact lenses and lens glazes. These can be used to correct/aid eye anomalies.
"Dispensing optician" is defined as an individual who fits and adapts optical appliances on the basis of a prescription derived from an ophthalmic optician or ophthalmic medical practitioner.
"Optometrist/ophthalmic optician" is an individual who is involved in the testing of sight under the governance of the Opticians Act 1989. They are allowed, under this act, to perform optical dispensing services for optical appliances after they have conducted an eye examination, or they have been provided with details of refraction/lens fittings from another optometrist.
"Ophthalmic medical practitioner" is an individual who has extended their medical practice to specialise in the testing of sight, also under the guidance of the Opticians Act 1989, and can also provide optical dispensing services of optical appliances.
"Optical dispensing services" are provided by opticians (the definition of which is in these terms and conditions). Optical consultants, under direct supervision, can also provide the services as defined in the optical dispensing services definition. We can have in-house opticians or subcontract optical dispensing services to opticians and companies that are registered with the General Optical Council (GOC) as an optical body.
1.5 Optical dispensing services
Feel Good Contacts supplies optical dispensing services. Consultations for dispensing services can be executed in several ways and include, but are not limited to, our website, chat engines, emailing, verbally by telephone/mobile phone, or visiting our consultant for a face-to-face consultation. Feel Good Contacts can/may also outsource consultations for dispensing services to other qualified professionals and/or contract a part of its entire services to a third party, whilst being obliged to adhere to the terms and conditions contained herein regarding all aspects of dispensing services to the optical appliances available on our site.
Feel Good Contacts uses or subcontracts to qualified ophthalmic opticians (also known as optometrists) and/or ophthalmic medical practitioners (OMP) and/or dispensing opticians and/or contact lens fitters and/or contact lens/optometric consultants (under the guidance of a qualified optometrist/dispensing optician/OMP) to supply optical dispensing services and optical appliances. Collectively, we refer to the qualified individuals as said herein as "opticians". Feel Good Contacts and/or its sub-contractors employ qualified ophthalmic optometrists and/or dispensing opticians (referred to in these terms and conditions as a "OO/DO" or "OOs/DOs") who are also trained and qualified to fit and/or dispense optical appliances. All optical dispensing advice for the supply of optical appliances is done by opticians, with the term "opticians" as defined in these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are a strict agreement between the customer and Feel Good Contacts for all optical dispensing services and supply/provision of optical appliances (including, but not limited to, contact lenses).
Feel Good Contacts’ dispensing optician(s) (and/or our customer care team under direct supervision) will have ongoing communications with customers to provide aftercare services and advice in relation to optical appliances that customers have been supplied. The aftercare services will include, but will not be limited to, advice on insertion and removal of lenses, wearing schedules, caring for lenses, our Eye Care Hub literature, hygiene, and emergency situations.

1.6 Prices and payments
1.6.1 The prices displayed on our website for all products will be the price you must pay when you order, unless subject to a promotional discount. The product price on our website will be the price you will pay just for the product when ordered, unless subject to a promotional discount. If a price has been incorrectly applied to a product, please refer to the conditions laid out in 1.6.6.
1.6.2 Prices displayed do not include delivery costs. The price of delivery will be shown separately.
1.6.3 Optical dispensing services are charged at 35% of the price of the prescription optical appliances (excluding VAT). The dispensing service charge is included in the total price of the optical appliances.
The dispensing charge covers optical advice, aftercare, and guidance. There is no dispensing charge for eye drops, contact lens solutions and other eye care products. Sunglasses and non-prescriptive glasses will not be subject to dispensing charges.
1.6.4 For customers based in the EU, all prices include VAT. For customers based outside of the EU, all prices shown will be displayed accurately and at full price including VAT and duty charges.
1.6.5 The decision to change advertised prices of services and goods will be determined by Feel Good Contacts. This can be revised at any time without prior notice. If prices are changed, confirmed orders prior to the change will remain unaffected. Orders submitted, but not yet confirmed before the change, may be affected.
1.6.6 If a product on our website is incorrectly priced when a customer orders, we have no obligation to sell the product at the incorrect price. We will notify the customer of any price changes and, upon consent from the customer, either continue with the revised order or proceed to cancellation.
1.6.7 The customer is entirely responsible for any import duties and liable for any breaches of laws and regulations in the country of delivery.
1.6.8 Payment must be made through Feel Good Contacts' chosen payment providers and handlers (Nighthawk Ltd). We may change payment providers at any time.
1.6.9 When a payment method is entered, but before the order is placed, a pre-authorisation charge for the full amount of the order may take place to ensure the card will allow full payment. If the order is not placed, the pre-authorisation charge will be removed in a few days; the duration will depend on the debit or credit card supplier.
1.6.10 The credit or debit card used will be charged at the time of order. The act of payment will not constitute a contract between Feel Good Contacts and the customer. If, for any reason, the order is refused after payment, a refund will be given.
1.6.11 Prices shown on the price comparison table of our homepage have been taken from Vision Express and Specsavers and are correct as of November 2020. Prices were based on the cost of one box and not related to any direct debit scheme.
1.7 Store credit
1.7.1 Store credit cannot be redeemed for cash.
1.7.2 Store credit cannot be refunded, transferred into the customer’s bank account or into another Feel Good Contacts account.
1.7.3 Store credits will expire one year from the last date a store credit was issued or the last date an order was placed.
1.7.4 Store credits can be used alongside any offer, reward points, sale items or promotional codes. The value of store credits available to use will be available during the checkout process and the amount used will be deducted from the total order value. The total order value includes the cost of the items and delivery charges.
1.8.1 The delivery date will be calculated at the checkout page. The dispatch of goods will take place once payment has been taken from your account.
1.8.2 Upon dispatch of your order, we will send you an e-mail confirmation. The email will provide a tracking number to monitor the progress of your order. If a delivery date is not specified, we will try and fulfil orders within 21 working days.
1.8.3 We will not be held accountable for delays with courier companies. However, as a gesture of goodwill, we will assess the degree of the situation (even though the circumstances attached to the delay were beyond our control) to the best of our judgement.
1.8.4 If there is an issue with delivery and if you are entitled to a refund of your delivery costs this will only be given via store credit. Any refund entitled against a delivery charge will be passed into your account as ‘store credit’.
1.9 Returns and refunds
1.9.1 If a product has been returned opened, not in the original condition and packaging, without its Feel Good Contacts tag, or has passed our 30/90 days returns policy and requires a refund, the customer in this instance will be offered store credit only.
A product requiring a full or partial refund but returned opened and/or not its original condition, will be refunded only as a ‘store credit’. We will not refund the original delivery charges.
1.9.2 In the unlikely event a contact lens is damaged or faulty, and you are entitled to a refund, you will be offered store credit only.
1.9.3 We only offer an exchange on products unopened and in their original condition. Exchanges can be performed for the same product with a different prescription, or for a different product of the same value (it is advisable that you seek your practitioner’s guidance before switching lens products or brands). When an exchange is requested for a product of different value, the price difference will be calculated excluding the delivery charge of the original purchase and you will be offered a refund of the difference back via store credit. Any additional costs can be paid by contacting customer services. A delivery charge will be applicable to post the replaced items.
Any products that are being returned after an unreasonably delayed period will be subject to consideration.
1.9.4 In the unlikely event that your package arrives damaged, or does not arrive at all, we’ll open a claim with the courier service and process a reshipment or refund if required. If you request a refund, this can be made back to your original payment method or to your store credit. A Denial of Receipt P91 form will be sent to you. This form must be filled out and returned within 1-2 days. If not returned in time, the claim will automatically be void. In this case, we reserve the right to retrieve any refunds or replacements already issued.
1.10 Force majeure
We shall not be liable for the delay or failure to supply a product from our site as a result of events that are beyond our reasonable control. Should any such event occur, we shall endeavour to contact you to make a decision as to whether the contract of sale should remain or be revoked.
1.11 Limitations of liability
1.11.1 We will not be responsible for any typing errors or mistakes that you have provided while placing your order.
1.11.2 The customer can subscribe to Feel Good Contacts marketing communications. Feel Good Contacts communications may include new product information, special offers, competitions, or an invitation to participate in market research. Neither Feel Good Contacts nor our trusted email service provider will give personal data to third parties without the expressed permission from the customer. Third party emails will only be sent after the customer’s consent.
1.11.3 The goods remain the property of the seller until such time that the goods and associated charges have been fully paid by the purchaser.
1.11.4 On completing the online order form you agree and accept that you are the person responsible for placing the order and agree to pay all the charges put through the website.
1.11.5 We have the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions as and when required.
1.11.6 We will not be bound by your offer/purchase if there is an error in any advertisement or pricing on the website. In such circumstances the offer of purchase will be revoked.
1.11.7 Any disputes directed to Feel Good Contacts will be governed solely by Gibraltar law.
1.11.8 Feel Good Contacts strives to keep your personal information accurate. We have implemented technology, management processes and policies to maintain customer data accuracy. We take precautions to protect personal information that you have submitted on this site. However, we will not accept any liability for unauthorised theft or data that has been used to your detriment.
1.12.1 You can cancel your order from your account in the ‘Orders’ section or you can contact us on 0800 458 2090, message us on LiveChat, WhatsApp +44 7810 004 929 or via email at email@example.com. Unfortunately, if your order has been dispatched, we will be unable to cancel or amend the order.
1.12.2 Refunds will be sent within 3-5 working days after the successful cancellation of your order if you chose to get your money refunded to the original payment method or instantly if you chose store credit. You can receive the refund to your original payment method, or instantly, by accepting store credit. Store credit can be used against any purchase on our website.
1.12.3 An order placed after our cut off time (as specified on our site) will only be accepted the next working day. Your refund will accordingly be processed on the same day your order has been accepted and in accordance to 1.12.1 Working days are from Monday to Friday. UK bank holidays are not considered as working days.
1.12.4 You will be responsible for the cost of delivery if you missed the cancellation time.
1.13.1 All users will be registered and provide an individual username and password, and our database will hold all relevant information regarding prescriptions. Our database will hold relevant information on your prescriptions and orders.
1.13.2 You can reorder the same product as your last order, provided the prescription is valid within the terms herein. However, if you wish to order lenses that are a different prescription, brand, or type, you need to provide a new, valid prescription written by your practitioner.
1.14 Discount codes and marketing promotions
1.14.1 A discount or marketing promotion can be used at the checkout to receive a discount on the final price of products, or it may be added automatically before the checkout. Unless otherwise stated, all delivery charges will be excluded from the discount. Discounts and marketing promotions can only be used once. You cannot use more than one discount or marketing promotion per transaction.
1.15 Feel Good Reward Points
1.15.1 These rules govern the collection, redemption and use of Feel Good Reward Points. These rules set out the terms of agreement between Feel Good Contacts and yourself.
1.15.2 Points can be redeemed for monetary value as stated on this page. This can be altered at the discretion of Feel Good Contacts.
1.15.3 Feel Good Contacts reserve the right to vary the rate of points awarded per amount spent and the rate of discount per point at any time without prior notice.
1.15.4 Feel Good Reward Points are non-transferable, have no monetary value and can only be redeemed on purchases from www.feelgoodcontacts.com.
1.15.5 Feel Good Contacts are entitled at any time to revoke any points if any relevant products are returned or cancelled for any reason, and a refund of the purchase price (or part of the price) is given.
1.15.6 Feel Good Contacts may refuse (at all times acting reasonably) to award any points where an order shows initial evidence of abuse or attempted abuse of the reward scheme. For the avoidance of doubt, abuse includes having multiple accounts and/or breaching any of these terms.
1.15.7 Feel Good Contacts are entitled to set a limit on the number of points which may be awarded to each account and decide to award additional or bonus points at its sole discretion.
1.15.8 Feel Good Contacts reserves the right to remove you from the reward scheme, decline to issue points, or withdraw/cancel points at any time at its reasonable discretion.
1.15.9 We also reserve the right to change, terminate, suspend or replace the Feel Good Reward Points scheme, or any aspect of the scheme, at any time. We will endeavour to notify customers in advance of any changes to the scheme, but we may be forced to alter it at any time if required by law or a senior authority.
1.15.10 The reward scheme is for personal and consumer use only. Your points cannot be used for any transaction where the beneficiary is commercial.
1.16 Feel Good Auto-Replenish
1.16.1 By opting into the Auto-Replenish service, the customer authorises Feel Good Contacts to take payments according to their selected date interval, via their current payment method.
1.16.2 If payment for an Auto-Replenish order fails to process, the order will not be placed. In this situation, a customer services advisor will contact the customer to verify and update their details.
1.16.3 We reserve the right to change the prices of our products and services at any time. If the price of a product in an Auto-Replenish order changes, we will aim to notify the customer of the change before the next automated order is submitted and determine if the customer wishes to continue with the Auto-Replenish order at the altered price.
1.16.4 The customer can opt out any time from this service. Customers can cancel Auto-Replenish via their online account but must do so at least 5 days before their next order is due.
1.17 Price Match Guarantee
1.17.1 Price Match claims can only be made against like-for-like items. The item that is found to be cheaper must have the same features, prescription, quantity, name, and packaging as the item sold by Feel Good Contacts. Prices must be compared to the prices advertised on the Feel Good Contacts website. We will not accept comparisons to Feel Good Contacts items found on affiliate sites, shopping comparison sites or other third-party websites.
1.17.2 We will not accept price comparisons made from websites based outside the UK or in different currencies.
1.17.3 A Price Match claim can be made before you purchase a contact lens product and within 5 working days of placing the order. If you have made a Price Match claim after placing your order, you will be refunded the difference by store credit only.
1.17.4 The decision to award a Price Match and discount will be at the discretion of Feel Good Contacts and awarded once we are satisfied with the claim.
1.17.5 All email and call claims are subject to a verification process by our customer services team at the time of receipt. If the product(s) cannot be verified as being lower in price by our customer services team, we will not award the Price Match discount.
1.17.6 Price Match cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.
1.17.7 Delivery charges will be exempt from the discount.
1.18 Location of sale, jurisdiction and law
1.18.1 Place of sale

1.18.2 Governing law
The terms contained herein are governed by the law of Gibraltar and all contracts made with Feel Good Contacts for the purchase of any products will be duly governed under Gibraltar laws.
Any disputes arising from the purchase of products from Feel Good Contacts will be directed by the courts of Gibraltar, which will have exclusive jurisdiction on the purchase of products from our site.
2. Terms and conditions for prescription spectacles/prescription sunglasses (collectively referred to as “prescription eyewear”)
By placing an order for prescription eyewear, you agree to be bound by the conditions set hereunder, and to the obligations in the terms and conditions (general website).
2.1 Spectacle prescription validity
2.1.1 Your spectacle prescription, dispensed by your practitioner and in your possession, must be within 2 years of your last sight test date (or 1 year if you are over the age of 70).
2.1.2 You must not be a person who is registered blind or is partially sighted.
2.1.3 You must be at least 16 years old or above.
2.1.4 You will supply all the necessary details including any recorded notes that were made at the time of the sight test for your spectacle prescription.
2.2 Spectacle prescription further requests
With a prescription order, you agree we can exercise the following if our opticians deem necessary:
2.2.1 To contact you to discuss any issues or concerns that arise from the submission of your order.
2.2.2 To contact your practitioner to obtain further information.
2.2.3 To ask for the original proof of prescription (or copy) to be sent to us by uploading an image onto the website, or by any other means.
2.2.4 To undergo a new sight test if the prescription is out of date.
2.2.5 We will use the appropriate average pupil distance (PD) if we do not receive your PD and our in-house supervising opticians (upon their discretion) may request that you obtain the measurement of your PD from your practitioner.
2.3 Processing of spectacle eyewear
Prescription spectacles/sunglasses will be processed after payment is successfully made and after our dispensing/supervising optician has reviewed and verified the prescription to their satisfaction. If a frame is bought without a prescription, it will be processed after payment.
2.4 Order confirmation and right to supply
2.4.1 If the order confirmation displays a prescription that differs from what was originally set out in your order, please do not use the prescription eyewear and contact us immediately.
2.4.2 We can assist you with your prescription, please contact us either by email via email@example.com, by calling 0800 458 2090 or by uploading your prescription, which is located in your ‘My Account’ section.
2.4.3 We reserve the right not to supply if we believe there are any health contraindications against the wear of prescription eyewear and the prescription does not meet the satisfaction of the terms set herein.
3. Terms and conditions for social media and competitions
By participating in our competitions, you fully agree and accept the Feel Good Contacts competition terms and conditions:
- Each competition is only open to users based in the UK and aged over 18 years old
- Competitions are not open to employees or suppliers of Feel Good Contacts
- Each competition starts and ends on dates and times of Feel Good Contacts’ choosing
- One entry accepted per person. Duplicate entries will be discounted, and anyone found to use multiple accounts to enter will be considered ineligible
- Entrants must comply by competition rules and failure to comply will result in faulty entry which will be withdrawn from participation
- Each prize is non-transferable and cannot be substituted with a cash alternative and it does not cover any travel or other expenses in relation to the prize
- Feel Good Contacts reserve the right to end the competition at any time, without notice
- Once the competition is closed, the winner will be drawn at random from all complete submissions logged during the promotional period
- Once the competition winner is announced and contacted, the winner must respond within 14 working days or their prize will be forfeited
- We reserve the right to request personal details from the competition winner including name, address, telephone and email, in order to fulfil the delivery of the competition prize
- Once the competition winner receives their prize, we cannot be held responsible for the prize gifted hereafter, this includes but is not limited to; damage, theft and faults
3.2 Social media
The following terms apply when contributing, posting, distributing, sending, or displaying any comment, message (including email), data information, text, music, sound, image, graphics, or any other content to our site or when using any of Feel Good Contacts’ interactive services.
Please take the time to read and understand them, as you should not use any of these services unless you agree to these terms. They apply in addition to our full terms and conditions, so please make sure you have read and understood these as well.
By interacting with our website and interactive services you:
A. Grant, and represent and warrant that you have the right to grant Feel Good Contacts a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, transferable, irrevocable, fully paid and sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, distribute, publish, create derivative works from and publicly display and perform the user-generated content throughout the world.
B. Grant Feel Good Contacts and its affiliates and sublicenses the right to use the name that you submit in connection with such user-generated content.
C. Represent and warrant that (i) you own and control all of the rights to the user-generated content that you post or otherwise distribute, or you otherwise have the lawful right to post and distribute such user-generated content to or through the site and our interactive services; (ii) such user-generated content is accurate and not misleading; and (iii) use and posting or other transmission of such user-generated content does not violate these conditions and will not violate any rights of, or cause injury to, any person or entity.
You further grant Feel Good Contacts the right to pursue at law any person or entity that violates yours or Feel Good Contacts’ rights in the user-generated content by a breach of these conditions.
User-generated content submitted by users is deemed non-confidential and Feel Good Contacts is under no obligation to treat such user-generated content as proprietary information. Without limiting the foregoing, Feel Good Contacts reserves the right to use the user-generated content as it deems appropriate, including, without limitation, deleting, editing, modifying, rejecting, or refusing to post it.
Feel Good Contacts is under no obligation to offer you any payment for user-generated content or to attribute authorship of user-generated content to you. If, nonetheless, it is determined that you retain moral rights (including rights of attribution or integrity) in the user-generated content, you hereby agree that:
(A) You do not require that any personally identifying information be used in connection with the user-generated content, or any derivative works of, or upgrades or updates thereto;
(B) you do not oppose the publication, use, modification, deletion and exploitation of the user-generated content by Feel Good Contacts or its agents;
(C) you waive and will not claim or assert any entitlement to any moral rights of an author in any of the user-generated content; and
