He graduated and qualified in 2016 from Association of British Dispensing Opticians (ABDO) College as a Dispensing Optician, before going on to achieve a BSc (Hons) in Ophthalmic Dispensing from Canterbury Christ Church University. With 13 years of experience under his belt, Khuram has worked with some of the industry’s leading players in contact lenses and glasses.
Alastair Lockwood is an eye health advisor and surgeon who is passionate about trying to stop people going blind from glaucoma. His interest in research stems from undergraduate training at Cambridge University and clinical training at Oxford University. He completed an MRC funded PhD at the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology and Moorfields Eye Hospital.
Tina Patel is a qualified Contact Lens Optician at Feel Good Contacts. She achieved a BSc (Hons) in Optical Management in 2002 from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge and qualified as a Dispensing Optician. In 2007, Tina went on to qualify as a Contact Lens Optician. With over 25 years of experience in the optical industry, she has worked for a leading high street optician and currently teaches at City, University of London.
Wut Win is a qualified Dispensing Optician from Association of British Dispensing Opticians (ABDO), at Feel Good Contacts. She graduated and qualified in 2006 from City & Islington College. With over 17 years of optical experience, Wut has worked in several leading high street opticians and held a variety of positions. She has also worked with Special School Eyecare Service, where she assisted children with autism and special needs at their school and dispensed glasses for them.
Krina Halai is a qualified dispensing optician who graduated from City and Islington College in 2016. With 13 years of experience in the optical field, she has worked in multiple practices, including Specsavers and Boots and gained experience dispensing various high-end frames and lenses. She has performed paediatric dispensing, supervised and trained students, triaged patients for glasses fittings, repairs and adjustments. She has also taken an online course on myopia control and helped many children prevent their myopia from progressing.
