Thinking about trying coloured contact lenses for the first time? Here is some advice:
1. Never share contact lenses with your friends whether you're looking to try a new colour for your Halloween Costume of simply want to switch up your look. Swapping contact lenses can lead to eye infections as well as eye strain.
2. Look after your lenses on a day to day basis whether they are dailies on monthly coloured lenses.
3. Discontinue use of your lenses if your eyes become irritated. Sore, painful or itchy eyes could indicate an underlying eye infection. If your coloured contact lenses are causing you discomfort, take them out immediately.
4. Don't be afraid to experiment. Coloured contact lenses are a fun way to try new looks. Remember, if you haven't already been prescribed coloured contact lenses, make sure you speak to your optician and get a contact lens fitting.
