Is CooperVision MyDay better than Acuvue Moist?
CooperVision MyDay is better than Acuvue Moist in terms of absolute comfort and uninterrupted performance from morning to night. This is due to its silicone hydrogel material allowing for a more breathable lens and Aquaform Technology which reduces the friction between the eyelid and the lens.
1-Day Acuvue Moist on the other hand is a cheaper option which offers excellent value for money to those who are new to wearing contact lenses or those who are looking to wear contact lenses occasionally for short periods of time. You can expect incredible comfort for an affordable price with Acuvue Moist contact lenses.
How does CooperVision MyDay compare to Acuvue Moist?
CooperVision MyDay and Acuvue Moist not only differ in their material but they also utilise different technologies which set them apart.
CooperVision MyDay uses Aquaform Technology for a naturally wettable lens that uses less silicone hydrogel allowing for more flexibility and easy handling. An Abberation Neutralising System lens design further enhances the comfort of these lenses by giving them a smooth surface and rounded edge for a more natural feeling, reducing friction so that the eyelid glides easily over the lens.
1-Day Acuvue Moist on the other hand, uses LACREON Technology which also creates a wettable lens for a moist surface.
Both these lenses provide excellent UVA and UVB protection which is vital to keeping your eyes safe and protecting them against the sun’s rays.
