Is Acuvue TruEye better than Moist?
Acuvue TruEye is better than Moist in terms of comfort and staying comfortable for longer periods of time. This is because it is made of a silicone hydrogel material which allows more oxygen to reach the eye for a more breathable lens. For this reason, they are also a more expensive option than 1-Day Acuvue Moist.
1-Day Acuvue Moist on the other hand provide good value for money to those who are new to wearing contact lenses or those who are looking to wear contact lenses occasionally. Moist deliver incredible comfort at an affordable price.
How does Acuvue TruEye compare to Moist?
Besides their materials, the main feature which sets Acuvue TruEye and Moist apart, when comparing them is the technologies which these lenses utilise.
1-Day Acuvue TruEye features Hydraclear Technology which keeps the eyes healthy and hydrated for clear vision and ensures that the lenses retain moisture throughout the day. 1-Day Acuvue Moist uses LACREON Technology which does a similar job, locking in wetness to keep the surface of the lens moist; however, it doesn’t last as long.
Both these lenses provide excellent UVA and UVB protection which is vital to keeping your eyes safe and protecting them against the sun’s rays.
