Up until now, manufacturer Bausch & Lomb was the only contact lens manufacturer running any type of contact lens recycling program. It was only available in the US, making it inaccessible to UK based customers.

How do you recycle your contact lenses?
Collect your contact lenses in a small box or container and simply drop them off at our North London warehouse. If you’re a Click and Collect customer, you can bring your old lenses when you come to get your new lenses.
Please DO NOT send your contact lenses using the returns label included in your order. Used lenses and packaging sent via this method will not be recycled.

What can I recycle?
We will only take the following items only for recycling:
- Individual contact lenses
- The plastic blister packs your contact lens comes in
We DO NOT recycle the boxes you contact lenses came in, or empty contact lens solution or eye drop bottles.
Why should you recycle your contact lenses?
Over 750 million contact lenses are thrown away in the UK every year. If not disposed of properly, individual contact lenses end up in our waterways and contributes to micro plastic waste.
