In electric colours, seventeenth-century cherubs complete with baroque swirls mixed with naughty monkeys, bananas or pineapples came to more simple silhouettes. This was all deliberate of course, as Ms Prada named the spring/summer 2011 collection Minimal Baroque. The same name comes to the sunglasses, first introduced at the show. 13SS is a more wearable version, but the now iconic rococo curled temples are still in place. Against a round silhouette with metal brow and nose bars, 13SS is expertly crafted from the finest acetate. When the exaggerated curves are coloured in black, a refined simplicity is brought to the sunglasses’ celebrated individualism. FREE Delivery on orders over £45 at Feel Good Contact Lenses.
