Head Office Roles

HR Officer

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Highgate, North London
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 9:30am – 6:00pm

Are you an experienced HR Officer looking for a challenging career move?
This is a fantastic opportunity for a diligent and innovative HR Officer in a standalone position to really leave their stamp on the business, proactively implementing and leading the HR functionalities.

Duties

  • Answering and dealing with day to day enquiries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Providing efficient administration for the recruitment and selection process, including application management, booking interviews, preparing shortlisting and interview packs, meeting and greeting candidates and sending out the required letters
  • Providing efficient administration of paperwork for new employees including reference checks and verifications, Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks, drafting contracts, compiling new starters’ employment packs
  • Ensuring that established processes are followed in a consistent manner
  • Keeping a record of all holidays and absences - flagging issues as required
  • Handling disciplinaries, grievance, performance and attendance issues
  • Ensuring that the new HR database is consistently up to date including setting up their user profile and updating employee data
  • Assessing the existing company processes and exploring where these can be improved or refined

General

  • Ensuring that established processes are followed in a consistent manner
  • Providing excellent (internal and external) customer service and building strong relationships
  • Ensuring confidentiality of all written and verbal communication
  • Maintaining good housekeeping, strictly adhering to all policies and procedures

Requirements

  • 3 years’ experience working in HR department
  • Experience in end to end recruitment process (ideally with Reed, Indeed and TotalJobs)
  • CIPD qualified or on going CIPD training
  • Proven experience of multi-tasking and ability to prioritise own workload
  • A solid understanding of current UK Employment Law
  • Excellent attention to detail

Marketing Executive (SEO)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Highgate, North London
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 9:30am – 6:00pm

As Marketing Executive, you will oversee multiple functional areas related to customer experience (such as traffic and marketing) across all media channels. Whilst upholding high editorial and marketing standards and be responsible for maintain a clear, consistent brand voice. The right candidate will possess project management skills, have excellent attention to detail, and have outstanding interpersonal skills to work under their own initiative at the heart of a vibrant and busy digital department.

Tasks will include:

  • Supporting Head of Marketing to manage the team of content writers, working to plan, proofread and edit their work effectively
  • Working with the Head of Marketing to create a content plan in line with the business objectives
  • Maintaining a consistent tone of voice across the website, in line with company values and brand guidelines
  • Creating engaging and SEO-optimised informational content across various formats, including product descriptions, on-site content, blog posts, off-site content
  • Corresponding with email and social media departments to ensure content is on-brand and grammatically flawless
  • Liaising with agencies and help develop the company’s SEO strategy to ensure high organic traffic and keyword rankings
  • Compiling data reports and utilise SEO tools to track content and traffic

Must have:

  • 3+ years proven experience in a content marketing role (preferably B2C)
  • Experience proofreading, editing and managing the workload of a team of content writers
  • A creative and engaging writing style
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO, meta data and keyword research
  • Experience using SEO tools
  • Fluency in everything Google Analytics

Warehouse Roles

Ecommerce Logistics Operations Manager

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Golders Green, North London
Working hours: Monday – Friday

We are currently looking for an experienced Ecommerce Logistics Manager who will be responsible for the overall operational effectiveness of all warehouse logistics.

The right candidate will be required to review all systems in the warehouse and assess where improvements can be made in terms of software and processes. They will have the responsibility to drive continuous improvement and execute projects in the view to optimise the warehouse and ensure that our processes are running smoothly and effectively.

  • Lead in resolving logistics disputes by consistently looking for new solutions
  • Review any potential issues with warehouse processes and suggest opportunities for improvement
  • Meet all operational KPIs and maintain a continuous improvement culture
  • Continually try to improve and develop business performance within the constraints of legislation, costs and rising environmental pressures
  • Develop and deliver change management across the Warehouse departments
  • Trouble shoot across the business identifying and resolving any issues that affect the customer, efficiency or capacity of the operation
  • Identify, analyse and resolve a wide range of issues, providing quick and decisive solutions within the context of existing policies and identify the need for revision or creation of policies
  • Drive the delivery of projects from the beginning to end, designing processes and regularly track and report progress
  • Analyse performance and raise issues in order to develop an improvement plan
  • Improving backorder, EOL, replacement, and order exceptions to pro-actively prevent order issues and advancing customer experience
  • Review and create documentation around fulfilment procedures, escalations, and reporting to drive improvements
  • Develop, manage and deliver any software based projects, from beginning to end

Experience:

  • Strong analytical understanding of operations, logistics, warehouse processes and systems
  • Proven organisation, communication and relationship building skills
  • Experience using MS-Office software including extensive use of Excel spreadsheets, Word, Access, and a sales order management software
  • Proven track record of problem solving and process implementation in a professional environment
  • 5+ years strong experience in an e-commerce/logistics/operations setting
  • Experience in developing and executing project plans
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously

Night Shift Warehouse Operative (Weekend Shift)

Working hours: Saturday and Sunday, 11:00pm - 7:00am

We are a looking for a Warehouse Operative with experience in dispatching to join our Operations Team in our warehouse based in North West London.

Experience in working within the busy environments of a stock or dispatch department is of advantage but full training on products, procedures and systems will be provided. The shift can go from relaxed to hectic at times, as the workload can quickly change depending on the amount of stock and orders received therefore a flexible, focused and hands-on approach is of benefit.

Required to cover the hours from Saturday and Sunday, 11:00pm - 7:00am.

The candidate should be able to:-

  • Dispatch orders in a time efficient and attentive manner, ensuring that all items are appropriately packaged according to cut off times
  • Enter dispatch information onto the E-commerce platform
  • Receive incoming stock deliveries and check the items match the delivery note
  • Process the stock and input data onto the system
  • Assist with stock audits/stock rotation

The successful candidate must have:
