Are Acuvue Oasys contacts monthly?
Acuvue Oasys is not a monthly contact lens, it is a two-weekly contact lens and must be changed every two weeks. As they are a two-weekly lens, you receive 3 lenses in each box.
How do you clean Acuvue Oasys contacts?
You clean Acuvue Oasys as you would clean any other contact lens. If you are wearing it as a two weekly lens, you should store your lenses overnight in multipurpose contact lens solution to clean and disinfect them. If you are wearing them as an extended wear lens, you can keep them in for up to 6 days and 7 nights without removal. Although, there is nothing stopping you from cleaning them if you feel you need to within that time.
How long are you supposed to wear Acuvue Oasys contacts?
You can wear Acuvue Oasys contacts for 6 nights and 7 days, if approved by your optician for continuous, extended wear. They can also be worn as two weekly lenses for 14 days before being disposed of, as long as they are removed, cleaned and stored in contact lens solution at the end of each day.
Can you take a nap with Acuvue Oasys?
As extended wear contact lenses, you can take a nap and sleep in Acuvue Oasys contact lenses as long as this is approved by your optician.
